01Lower Operating Costs and Reduced Setup Time

The absolute encoder backup battery, which stores home position data, has been relocated to the SCARA robot itself. This eliminates the need for homing adjustment during installation.
In addition, the number of required backup batteries has been reduced from four to one, helping lower running costs.

02Through-Hole Shaft and Through-Hole Cap Options Available

For easier routing of pneumatic tubing and electrical wiring, optional through-hole shafts and through-hole caps are available. These options eliminate the need to design and manufacture brackets for cable and tubing routing, making routing layout and installation easier. Routing cables and tubing through the robot body also helps reduce the risk of cable damage during operation.

03Optional Brake Release Switch

When the robot is in an emergency stop condition, pressing and holding the brake release switch releases the Z-axis brake, allowing the Z-axis to be moved up and down manually. Releasing the switch re-engages the brake. This feature improves convenience during installation and adjustment.

Does the YE comply with standards such as CE and KCs?: No. The YE does not comply with CE or KCs standards. If CE or KCs compliance is required, please use the YK-XE model.

Can I use the RCX340 controller with the YE?: No. The RCX340 is not compatible with the YE. Please use the RCX440 controller.
