| killing | Putting aside some time after the process of degassing or deoxidizing a molten metal to stabilize it. |
| knock pin | A pin driven in through two parts to be assembled to strictly maintain their positioning accuracy. |
| knurling | A machining process in which a textured pattern is machined into the surface of a metal or work piece. It is effective in providing better grip. |
