Introducing elevated standards in rider training and safety in the Philippines.
Philippines
Yamaha Motor Philippines reinforced its commitment to road safety and responsible riding in 2025 through a comprehensive rollout of Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) initiatives nationwide. A key focus was the transition of Yamaha Club (YCLUB) members into certified Safety Facilitators through structured training programs conducted across the Philippines. This was complemented by Dealer Facilitator Trainings, equipping partners with the capability to manage test rides effectively and implement YRA safety protocols in expanding Yamaha’s network of safety ambassadors.
Safety-focused rider engagement was further strengthened through product-led and experiential activities. The Mio Gravis Campaign highlighted the model as a sensible and safety-oriented motorcycle, while YECVT-equipped models such as the NMAX Tech Max and Aerox SP were promoted through test ride programs that emphasized control and rider confidence. In parallel, campus tours in key areas enabled Yamaha to engage the younger generation, integrating safety briefings, rider assessments, and hands-on riding sessions.
Through these initiatives, Yamaha continues to advance rider education, enhance on-road confidence, and foster a strong culture of safety among both current and future riders across the Philippines.
