Introducing customized lessons for customers in Japan.

Japan

In Japan, we implemented rider training programs as part of our ongoing commitment to promoting road safety and responsible riding. These initiatives primarily targeted beginner and returning riders, aiming to enhance both riding competence and risk awareness. In 2025, a total of 25 sessions were conducted, reaching 307 participants. Notably, one program was designed as a touring-focused residential course, incorporating riding experiences along scenic routes. This approach not only strengthened practical riding skills but also fostered a deeper appreciation of the positive and enjoyable aspects of motorcycling, contributing to sustained engagement with safe riding practices.

In addition, we provided safety riding programs for corporate customers using our products, contributing to safer mobility in the workplace and among new riders entering society. In 2025, we conducted 12 motorcycle safety training sessions for 171 new employees. The program combined classroom-based learning using visual materials with hands-on riding instruction. Certified instructors from the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) delivered structured and attentive guidance tailored to the needs of beginners. Through these initiatives, we supported participants in acquiring fundamental knowledge and practical skills for safe riding, thereby contributing to the reduction of accident risks and the promotion of a safety-oriented riding culture.
