The 2022 Suzuka 8 Hours Endurance Road Race—the only round of the Endurance World Championship (EWC) held in Japan—was put on for the first time in three years. Yamaha Motor’s employee-run team, the Iwata Racing Family (IRF), drew significant attention this year as it entered the race featuring a special collaboration with Azur Lane, a smartphone game popular worldwide.
