Nine-time world champion and Italian racing legend Valentino Rossi ended his illustrious 26-year-career at the final round of the 2021 MotoGP World Championship.

To show our sincere appreciation for the wonderful memories and successes our long partnership with Rossi brought, the Plaza displayed the 16 YZR-M1 racebikes he rode throughout his career in blue.

The Italian made a shock switch to the Yamaha factory team in 2004, and in his 16 years competing in the MotoGP premier class with Yamaha, he took 56 wins, placed second 46 times, and finished third 40 times, making him the most successful rider in our history.

As he took victory after victory, his success on the circuit brought Kando to fans worldwide and helped communicate the ideals behind our “Revs your Heart” brand slogan: to bring exciting moments and enriching experiences to everyone who connects with Yamaha.
