Born May 1959. In 1988, raced in the 500cc class on a YZR500 with the Sonauto Team and achieved a ranking of 14th. Entered his first amateur race in 1979. In 1981 achieved a win in the Promosports Endurance 1300cc race, and subsequently continued to focus on endurance racing. From 1984 to 1986, achieved three straight victories in the Endurance World Championship (Honda). Then, in 1983, debuted in the World GP in his native France (250cc). In 1987, competed full-time in the GP with the Sonauto-Yamaha Team on a 250 and achieved a placement of 12th. The following year, stepped up to the 500cc class. In 1990, raced again in the 250cc class with Aprilia, and concluded his GP career.
