SR Piston by Needle felting
We have reproduced an almost life-size piston, which is said to be the heart of a bike engine, by felt. Mini version is also available.
A piston made of felt
The piston is the heart of a bike. It creates power by strenuously moving a hollow cylinder in the engine up and down using gasoline combustion. We have reproduced the piston of the popular SR400 bike, that has been on sale for 40 years, in felt.
Enjoy the difference between the metal parts and making them with soft felt.
Collaboration / supervision: Japan Wool Felt Association
Production: Naho Setomoto
