Born May 1958. Joined the Sonauto Yamaha Team in 1991 and rode a YZR500 in the GP500. Earned a ranking of 19th with results that included a 7th in the Malaysian GP. Experienced in Motocross World Championship competition, in 1986 Morillas switched to road racing. In that year, he took the title in the French National Championship, 500cc class. In 1988, rode a Kawasaki in the World Superbike series and obtained a ranking of 16th. Also in 1988, came 3rd in both the Le Mans 24 Hour and the Suzuka 8 Hours. In 1989, rode with Yamaha in the GP250, and in 1990 rode Aprilia machines.
