Next-generation control system - HARMO

HARMO is a “innovative electric boat propulsion system platform” that was developed with the goal of providing smart package boats that offer more comfort to passengers with the quietness unique to electric motors. It consists of a propulsion unit powered by an electric motor, a remote-control box that controls movement, and a joystick that enables intuitive operation.
The motor drive adopts the rim drive method^* to achieve high-efficiency electric propulsion. In particular, it offers strong thrust at low speeds, enabling intuitive operation and notably lower vibration and noise, resulting in comfortable rides.

*Rim drive method: A method of operating impellers with a motor mounted on the rim (edge) of the impeller blade.
