XV750 Special

This American-style cruiser mounted a newly developed 75-degree V-twin engine. It featured a newly developed engine that featured the deep torque and the special feeling of pulse that was preferred in North America, the main market for this category and one in which the reputation of Japanese-made motorcycles for quality had begun to rise like in other categories since the release of XS650 Special in 1978. It had the first Monocross suspension in its class and shaft drive, etc., and it offered a comfortable ride and outstanding reliability that won it a strong reputation not only in Japan but also overseas.
