This adventure touring machine had features throughout stemming from feedback from years of experience in the Dakar Rally. The liquid-cooled DOHC, 5-valve, in-line 2-cylinder engine employing a 360-degree crank for excellent performance in all speed ranges was mounted on a high-tensile steel pipe double cradle frame. The chassis, with its short wheelbase design, was equipped with a 43 mm diameter front fork, link-type rear suspension, three brake discs and more.
