This was a street-legal version of the TY250R trial competition model. It shared the same specs as the TY250R in its linear power development, torquey engine mounted on a slim diamond type frame made of high-tensile steel and a linked type Monocross suspension. And, for more convenient use in everyday on-road use, it added features like the "Autolube" system that supplied lubricating oil to the engine in accordance with engine rpm, a 6-speed transmission, tires that doubled as competition tires, plus the necessary lights and other equipment to make it street legal.
