(2007 / Production Model)

Under the proposition of being “King of the Mountain Roads,“ the “TDM850” was launched in 1991 and quickly became popular for its performance on a variety of road surfaces, and the ease of its riding position. In 1996 it progressed to become the 2nd generation “TDM850” powered by an engine with a 270-degree crank to replace the previous 360-degree crank. Undergoing a full model change in 2002, it became the “TDM900” based on the same model concept as the original. In addition to the increased exhaust volume, it adopted cast aluminum pistons and plated cylinders, as well as fuel injection and a variable intake duct design. With its functions as a touring model it offered greater comfort in long-distance use as well as supersport type handling that enabled greater ease in navigating mountain passes. This made it a model to be enjoyed in a variety of riding scenes.
