YZ250M

This factory machine took the YZ250 production motocrosser as its base and modified it for racing. It had a semi-double cradle frame made of high-tensile steel pipe with a squared downtube, an aluminum fuel tank with an air intake scoop, an upside-down front fork and more. Pekka Vehkonen rode this machine to rank 2nd in the 250cc World Motocross Championship.
