CAT-14

This catamaran (twin hull) type 4-passenger boat was developed as a follow-up to Yamaha Motor’s RUN-13 and CAT-21 launched in 1960 as Japan’s first mass-production FRP boats. Its aim was to encourage the further spread of marine leisure in Japan. The boat offered superior high-speed performance, stability and onboard comfort, and had a wide range of uses, from being used as a tourist/sightseeing boat on lakes, etc., to use as a race boat in motorboat races.
