1979 Carrot (MA50)
Collection items
(1979 / Production Model)
The Carrot was another "soft bike" developed to answer the new market needs created by the Passol. The chassis was lightweight and compact thanks to the pipe frame and used a maintenance-free shaft drive. Like other soft bikes, because it used things like an automatic centrifugal clutch and hand-operated brakes to create easy-to-ride characteristics that closely resembled a bicycle, the Carrot expanded the range of motorcycle users, especially among active women.
