Born: 1-Mar-58

Born March 1958. Began road racing in 1977, and in 1979 debuted in the World GP (Spain) on a Yamaha TZ350. Then, up to 1983, raced in the 350cc and 250cc classes on Yamaha and Chevallier machines. Recorded a highest ranking of 2nd (1982). From 1983, stepped up to the 500cc class. In 1988, rode the YZR500 as a teammate of Eddie Lawson and achieved a personal best ranking of 7th. The following year, returned to 250cc competition (Aprilia). In 1991 achieved a 500cc class ranking of 8th (Suzuki) before finally changing to car endurance racing.
