ASB1000 Rider Kubo and SS600 Rider Amran to Miss Round 4
Ito and Norrodin to Replace

August 4, 2023—The YAMAHA GEN BLU RACING TEAM ASEAN’s Keminth Kubo, who currently competes in the Asia Road Racing Championship’s ASB1000 class and Ahmad Afif Amran, who competes for the team in the SS600 class, will both miss Round 4 in Indonesia, which is set to be held at Mandalika Circuit on August 11-13, both due to injuries.
To replace them, Japanese rider Yuki Ito, who was a member of the team until last year and finished 6th overall in 2022, will replace Kubo in ASB1000 following the Japan round, while in SS600 Amran will be replaced by Malaysian rider Ibrahim Norrodin, who won a race and was 5th overall in 2022.
