AMA Rider Plessinger to Withdraw from
Round 9 of the All Japan Motocross Championship

The Yamalube Star Yamaha Racing Team’s Aaron Scott Plessinger was to race in the IA1 class at Round 9 (MFJGP) of the All Japan Motocross Championship at Sportsland SUGO in Miyagi Prefecture, Japan on October 23, 2016.

However, on October 6, 2016, he broke a bone in his left foot on a training ride and his injury will unfortunately force him to withdraw from competing in the MFJGP.


With this, both top-class Yamaha riders that were scheduled to participate in the event have withdrawn. Yamaha wishes to apologize to fans that were looking forward to seeing Van Horebeek and Plessinger compete in Japan.
