Yamaha Motor Announces 2024 Model Change for European Road Sports MT-09 - Featuring at the EICMA 2023 in Milan -

IWATA, November 01, 2023 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) will exhibit the newly redesigned European road sports model MT-09 at the EICMA 2023 (International Motorcycle Exhibition) to be held in Milan from November 7th. The launch in Japan is scheduled for the spring of 2024 onwards.
MT-09
This MT-09 version has been developed under The Knight Horse concept, further refining the ride quality of The Rodeo Master which has been advocated to date. In terms of design, the Torque & Agile character has been further refined.
Main changes include: 1) The engine suspension has been changed to increase rigidity, while the rigidity around the front has been slightly reduced and tuned to achieve a greater balance of stability and nimbleness in a wider range of areas; 2) Adoption of Bridgestone BATTLAX HYPERSPORT S23 tires and resetting of the spring constant and damping characteristics of the front and rear suspensions (rear links have also been changed); 3) New riding position that takes into consideration a greater freedom of riding posture; 4) Newly designed tank; 5) Newly designed lights including flashers with new functions; 6) Riding assist technologies such as YRC (Yamaha Ride Control) and cruise control system; 7) 5-inch full color TFT with Connectivity functions and other convenient features such as meters and Type-C USB sockets.
