First introduced as a concept model at the last 35th Tokyo Motor Show, the “Tricker” drew a big reaction as a whole new type of machine that brings to the world of motorcycling a sense of the dynamic physical action of X-games competed with surfboards, snowboards, BMX bikes and the like. Now it appears with a new array of features to make it viable for street use as well while keeping that same Tricker spirit that evokes these extreme sports.
This model mounts an air-cooled 250cc, SOHC, single cylinder engine with a broad range of usable torque and plenty of pick-up. Also adopted is a new-design lightweight frame that exudes a sense of X-game excitement as well as trial riding agility. With 19-inch front and 16-inch rear special-pattern tires on a YZ85 motocrosser size chassis, a simple seat offering plenty of freedom in riding style, a slim riding position, a large handlebar turning angle, a light body (dry) weight of 107 kg, a thin-design fuel tank and special pattern tires, this model presents a sense of entirely new sports potential. Here is a model that proposes a completely new world of lightweight motorcycling never offered before, on a machine that is fun to ride and beautiful to look at.

Based on the planned production model, Tricker, this prototype projects an even stronger sense of performance potential in real action riding. Using carbon parts in places like the front fender, the seat cover and around the fuel tank has brought a significant reduction in weight. The exhaust system features a center muffler that boosts performance while also providing a slimmer rear section for more aggressive action riding. Other features like an aluminum fuel tank, upside-down front suspension with titanium-coated inner fork and an aluminum rear arm, it suggests new 3-dimensional type dynamics---hovering, jumping floating---just waiting to be explored.

This concept model brings the Tricker and Tricker Pro world to the 50cc category. The result is a wedding of the BMX freestyle riding trend with 50cc sports. Featured here are unique design ideas like an aluminum in-frame fuel tank.
