This was a motocross factory machine featuring an aluminum frame. The extremely rigid and lightweight frame had the appearance of a road racer frame while also helping mass centralization in the chassis. The engine was based on the 1991 production YZ250, which featured a piston reed intake valve and ceramic composite-plated cylinder. In the 1991 All Japan Championship, Takeshi Tabuchi achieved a ranking of second on this machine, while Tetsumi Mitsuyasu placed third. (The model on display was ridden by Tomoyuki Kawasaki to a debut win in the first round.)
