(1990 / Racing Machine)

This was an endurance race spec TT-F1 factory machine based on the limited production model FZR750R (0W01). A new smaller engine with higher revving capability was mounted in a newly designed frame that brought the swing arm pivot position forward and kept the steering head low to shift more weight to the front wheel. At the same time, the adoption of a highly rigid rear arm integrated into the frame line and inverted front forks strengthened the bike in the wheel-suspension area and helped achieve handling comparable to a GP machine. Tadahiko Taira, who was paired with Eddie Lawson, won his long-awaited first victory in the Suzuka 8 hours Endurance Race in 1990 with this machine.
