YZ250M

This factory machine took the YZ250 production motocrosser as its base and modified it for competition. It featured a new lightweight, highly rigid swingarm, an aluminum sub-frame and an exhaust pipe with a new shape. In the 250cc class of the World Motocross Championship, Pekka Vehkonen rode this machine to 6th-place in the season ranking.
