TZ250M (0WF3)

This factory machine was a race-modified version of the TZ250 production racer. The single-axis crankshaft V-twin engine inherited from the 1990 YZR250 achieved superb acceleration and power characteristics as a result of three years of refinement. The chassis and suspension assembly featured many special parts that differed from the production model. It helped provide Tetsuya Harada with exceptional machine control that contributed to him winning the 250cc World Championship in his rookie year.

  • Engine type: Liquid-cooled, 2-stroke, V-twin, 249cm³
  • Transmission: 6-speed
  • Maximum power output: Over 62.5kW (85PS)
  • Aluminum Deltabox frame
