(1990 / Racing Machine)
The first TZ250 debuted in 1973. For more than 30 years after that it continued to mature until 2009, all the while remaining a leader in Japan’s domestic racing arena. Its engine evolved during this time from a liquid-cooled in-line twin cylinder to later adopt rear-positioned exhaust and finally become a V-twin. The TZ250 with rear-positioned exhaust competed prominently on the race scene for three seasons from 1988 to ’90. Among these, the 1990 model TZ250 boasted improved engine performance and new chassis dimensions that gave it even quicker handling performance.
