Born: 1-Aug-73
Born August 1973. In 2000, won the World GP250 title on a Yamaha YZR250. Debuted in the GP250 in 1995, riding Honda machines up to 1998, but in 1999 switched to Yamaha. Though the 250cc champion that year was Valentino Rossi (Aprilia), Jacque managed to notch up one win and obtain a ranking of 7th. The following year, 2000, he was involved in an intense struggle for the title with teammate Shinya Nakano.
