Born: 1-Aug-73

Born August 1973. In 2000, won the World GP250 title on a Yamaha YZR250. Debuted in the GP250 in 1995, riding Honda machines up to 1998, but in 1999 switched to Yamaha. Though the 250cc champion that year was Valentino Rossi (Aprilia), Jacque managed to notch up one win and obtain a ranking of 7th. The following year, 2000, he was involved in an intense struggle for the title with teammate Shinya Nakano. The outcome was decided just before the finish line on the last lap of the last race when Jacque defeated Nakano to take his third win of the series and gain the championship title. In 2001, Jacque moved up to the 500cc class and until 2003 rode the YZR500 and YZR-M1 as a member of the Yamaha team. He subsequently rode Moriwaki, Kawasaki and other machines.
