Yamaha Motor to Exhibit All-New NMAX E and XENTER E Electric Scooters at EICMA— Proposing new mobility experiences through electrification in the carbon-neutral era —
IWATA, November 4, 2026
IWATA, November 4, 2026 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) announced today that it will exhibit its new NMAX E and XENTER E electric scooters at EICMA 2026 (International Two-Wheeler Exhibition), one of Europe's largest motorcycle exhibitions, to be held in Milan, Italy, from November 3rd.
Both models were created around the value proposition of “Feeling true to yourself every time you ride and knowing that every ride is a choice you can be proud of.” Instead of being just a means of transportation, these models offer mobility that allows riders to enjoy a more comfortable lifestyle and spend their time in ways that suit them best.
The NMAX E is an electric scooter intended for global markets. It was developed as a next-generation premium urban sport scooter combining the latest in EV technology with the ride performance, premium styling, comfort, and convenience of the popular gasoline-powered NMAX. Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. will handle production.
The XENTER E features 16-inch front and rear wheels, combining the ease of handling and comfort provided by larger wheels with the smooth throttle response unique to electric vehicles. Thanks to a newly designed frame, it delivers stable handling and agile performance even on cobblestone streets and other uneven road surfaces. Building on the traditional advantages of large-wheeled models, the XENTER E offers an even more comfortable and refined riding experience for everyday mobility. Yamaha Motor Vietnam Co., Ltd. will handle its production as well.
Yamaha Motor, in line with its Yamaha Motor Group Environmental Plan 2050, is working toward achieving carbon neutrality throughout its entire supply chain, including the Company’s business activities, by 2050.* The Company will continue to conduct R&D into a variety of technologies, including electrification, that contribute to sustainability, pursuing a multi-pathway approach toward achieving carbon neutrality. The introduction of the NMAX E and XENTER E is one of the initiatives contributing to the achievement of this companywide environmental goal.
