New Organizational Reforms and Personnel Changes at Yamaha Motor

IWATA, June 30, 2026 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) has resolved to implement the following organizational reforms and personnel changes effective July 1, 2026.

■ Organizational reforms (effective July 1, 2026)

1. Corporate Strategy Center
The New Business Development Section will be reorganized to enable the rapid deployment of aerial surveying technologies cultivated through the forest management business into a broader range of business fields.
・A New Business Operations Division will be established within the New Business Development Section, assuming all functions of the Forestry Management Division as well as the factory transport vehicle sales business currently handled by the General Planning Division.
・Accordingly, the Forestry Management Division will be dissolved through an evolutionary reorganization.

2. Technology, Research & Design Center
To clarify its role as the company-wide advanced development organization for engine technologies, the Automotive Development Section will be renamed the Engine Development Section.
・The electrification domain will be transferred to the Technical Development Section, which is responsible for energy management functions, while engine development functions will be consolidated within Engineering Division 1 and Engineering Division 2.
・Accordingly, Engineering Division 3 will be dissolved through an evolutionary reorganization.

3. Mobility Development Center
Mobility System Development Unit
The organization will be restructured to strengthen the unit's strategy planning and resource management functions, as well as the capabilities of existing development divisions.
・A Product Development Division will be established to separate the unit-wide strategy planning and resource management functions from the LSM and SPV development functions previously undertaken by the Planning Division, thereby enhancing these functions.
・A Domain Development Division will be established, and the functions of the System Development Division and the Component Development Division will be reorganized and reassigned.

Motorcycle Development Unit
The organization will be restructured to maintain an appropriate management framework and ensure efficient organizational operations in response to business expansion and workforce growth under the medium-term plan.
・A 3rd Motorcycle Testing Division will be established within the Motorcycle Development Section, assuming responsibility for the functions related to motorcycle testing previously undertaken by the 1st Motorcycle Testing Division, including testing infrastructure, strategy development, test management, and test course operations.
