New Organizational Reforms and Personnel Changes

IWATA, July 14, 2016—Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the following organizational reforms and personnel changes, effective July 15, 2016.
Organizational reforms
1.Technology Center
The planning and development functions for similar vehicles that were divided amongst the "Technology Center" and "PF Model Unit" will be integrated, and the "LMW Development Division" will be transferred from the "PF Model Unit" to under the "NPM Business Section."

- A new "PM Business Division" will be established under the "NPM Business Section" and development functions of new forms of personal mobility will be transferred to this section from the "LMW Development Division."
2.Manufacturing Center
In order to streamline the new production structure concluded during last year's reorganization, the organization of the "Manufacturing Center" will be changed.

- The chassis production functions of the "MC Assembly Factory" and "Chassis & Tank Manufacturing Division" will be integrated and become the "MC Body Manufacturing Factory."

- The tank production functions of the "Chassis & Tank Manufacturing Division" and the "Nakaze Manufacturing Division" will be integrated and become the "Tanks & Plastic Body Manufacturing Division."
