Yamaha Motor Enter International　Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition

IWATA, September 25, 2015—Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo: 7272) announced today that it will host a booth at the 42nd International Home Care & Rehabilitation Exhibition, the H.C.R.2015. The company’s theme will be 'For your future independence’, and the booth will be on show from October 7 to October 9 at the Tokyo Big Sight convention center. The H.C.R. is one of the largest welfare-related exhibitions in Asia, in 2014 featuring 530 domestic and 55 overseas exhibitors and attracting 127,651 visitors.

The booth will showcase Yamaha Motor's electric wheelchair lineup, featuring the new JW Active PLUS lightweight electric wheelchair, which was launched in August this year, and the Towny Joy X PLUS, with small-diameter 16-inch wheels. Highlights will also include wheelchair accessories such as spoke covers, and a test course will provide upward and downward slopes, allowing visitors to experience for themselves the comfort and high operability of Yamaha Motor electric wheelchairs.

In response to needs in the health and welfare sectors and those of our aging society, since 1995 Yamaha Motor has provided electric wheelchair products and accessories that apply Yamaha Motor's own advanced control and drive technologies for user comfort and convenience.
