Obituary and Memorial Service Notice

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. is grieved to announce the passing of its former president, Mr. Hideto Eguchi. Mr. Eguchi died of heart failure on November 22nd. He was 85 years old at the time of his passing. With the deepest respect, we wish to express our heartfelt appreciation to all who knew and worked with Mr. Eguchi.

In accordance with the wishes of the deceased, the funeral was conducted solely in the presence of his family and relatives and the announcement of his death was postponed until after the conclusion of the Buddhist memorial services.

An open memorial service to bid farewell to former president Eguchi will be held as follows.
