Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the following organizational and personnel changes, effective July 15, 2011.

	Organizational changes
	Technology Center
	·	A new "Fundamental Technology Research Division" has been established within the Research & Development Section. The Fundamental Technology Group and CAE Application Group of the Technology Infrastructure Section's Computer Aided Engineering Division have been shifted to it. The aim of these changes is to further strengthen fundamental technology development and the capacity to develop new businesses with greater speed.
	·	A new Mold Technology Division has been established within the Manufacturing Technology Section to promote advances in mold/die forming technology globally within the Yamaha Motor group to further raise product competitiveness.
	·	The Technology Infrastructure Section's Engineering IT Group and the Information Engineering Division's CAD/PDM Group have been consolidated as the new Computer Aided Engineering Division in order to strengthen the capacity to develop new computer-aided product development processes. In conjunction with this, the Information Engineering Division has been eliminated.
