Announcement of Organizational and Personnel Changes

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (the “Company”) announces the following organizational and personnel changes, effective May 1, 2006.

Organizational changes (effective May 1, 2006)

The Company has established a Security Trade Control Operations -- an organization designed to strengthen and improve the companywide trade control function. A Licensing Division, Planning & Education Division, and Legal & Governmental Affairs Division have been organized under the auspices of Security Trade Control Operations.
The former Security Trade Control Office was dissolved since it had achieved its intended purpose, and is replaced by the new organization.
