Group companies have set medium-term targets and implemented activities in line with the three-year medium-term plan formulated by headquarters.

Yamaha has established the Product Assurance Committee as its final authority on quality assurance for the entire company.
The Product Assurance Committee deliberates on matters such as the quality policy and measures, the formulation, revision, and abolishment of rules concerning quality assurance, and measures to address quality issues. It informs the quality management representatives of the various business divisions and centers of its decisions at the Quality Assurance Meeting. Those representatives then pass that information on to the work sites.
The Yamaha Motor Company Group Quality Management System Requirements, which are compliant with ISO 9001, serve as the basis for continual improvement of organizational quality management systems.
In addition, the Market Quality Information Auditing Committee, under authority delegated by the President and Representative Director, conducts timely investigations and reports to management for the purpose of properly maintaining market quality information handling tasks based on product failure, guarantee repairs, or other information received from various markets.
