Quality-Minded Personnel

Quality-Minded Personnel

This refers to individuals who continuously acquire new technologies, enhance their technical knowledge, and take ownership to solve problems and achieve goals to satisfy customers (including subsequent processes).

Training about Quality

We provide level-based quality improvement training aimed at imparting quality-related knowledge and skills.
We offer a variety of technical programs aimed at improving skills in areas such as methods for designing safe products, preventive and recurrence prevention techniques for quality issues, and risk assessment.
The increased opportunity to learn about various opinions and viewpoints provided by these programs that bring employees from different divisions or workplaces together expands their horizons and helps enhance their ability to solve problems.

Learning through Experience Hall

We have established the Learning through Experience Hall for the purpose of enabling employees to learn from past mistakes, apply that knowledge and experience to their current work, and strive for future improvements in quality.
The hall presents exhibits featuring cases of quality issues as well as the principle of absolute quality handed down by company founder Genichi Kawakami. The exhibits offer insights on applying those lessons to work, improving the prevention of quality issues and their recurrence, and help raise the awareness of quality improvement among employees.
We are also carrying out an initiative to bring those exhibits to offices and Group companies in remote locations.

Workshops by Younger Employees

We are also striving to create an open and transparent by having younger employees take the initiative in hosting workshops on planning and implementing opportunities for interactions and learning.
This activity involves inter-divisional cooperation and has participants engage in problem solving through hands-on learning.
Participants share the know-how they have gained through their day-to-day work with one another, and contribute to nurturing creativity in those who will play a key role in the future.
