1999 XVS1100 DragStar

(1999 / Production Model)
This was a full-fledged cruiser model introduced in response to the rapid increase and diversification of demand after it became easier to get a license for large motorcycles in Japan (1997). The chassis inherited the low seat height and long wheelbase of the XVS400 DragStar, and was powered by a 1,100cc V-twin engine with ceramic composite-plated cylinders and forged pistons. Its graceful styling, natural handling and pulse-filled ride helped win the model a large following overseas as well as in Japan. The European market model is on display.
