This 125cc production road racer was powered by a 2-stroke single-cylinder engine. It was the product of further evolution and maturation of the prototype that won the 125cc class of the All Japan Road Race Championship in 1993, and was a top performer in road race competitions in regions around the world. From 2000, it continued to be sold in that same basic spec until production ended with the 2009 model (on display) due to changes in machine regulations for the World Championships and other race categories, bringing an end to its proud history.
