It had a newly developed compact motor built into the rear wheel’s hub that gave a smoother feeling to the ride and also enabled a slim frame comparable to a regular bicycle and a lightweight body, all at a price under 70,000 yen. Its appearance heralded in the “2nd generation” of PAS bicycles.
