FZ750

This 750cc supersport model was designed under Yamaha Motor's exclusive “Genesis” engineering ideal that sought a synergy of improved engine performance and heightened handling performance and stability. It mounted the world's first 5-valve, DOHC, 45-degree forward inclined in-line 4-cylinder engine that pushed back the limits of engine technology. Its performance was proven at the Suzuka 8-hour and the Daytona 200 Mile endurance races, and became a top performer in numerous other displacement classes and categories. The power unit of this model would become a key technology for the subsequent evolution of Yamaha's 4-stroke models.
