Born January 1976. Was the first Malaysian competitor to ride a YZR250. Started racing in 1994 and won the Novice class title on a Yamaha TZM the following year. In 1996, he took the national TZM150 title. Then, in 1997, he entered the European Championship in the 125cc class. In 1998, he stepped up to the 250cc class and rode in the European and Spanish national championships. In 1999, Yuzi climbed to a ranking of 5th in the Spanish national championship and in 2000 was ranked 18th in the World Championship, 250cc class, on a TZ250. With these results, he was sponsored by Petronas in 2001 and 2002 to ride a YZR250. During both of those years, he was ranked 15th. His highest position was 8th in the 2002 Catalunya GP.
