Yamaha Motor announces the Changes of Representative Directors

IWATA, September 30, 2024 - Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. (Tokyo:7272) announces that the company finalized the following changes of Representative Directors at the Board of Directors meeting held today.
At the request of HIDAKA Yoshihiro, he resigned as President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director of the Company as of September 30, 2024.
As his successor, WATANABE Katsuaki, Chairman and Representative Director, will also serve as President, Chief Executive Officer and Representative Director from October 1, 2024.
In addition, SHITARA Motofumi, Senior Executive Officer and Director, will be appointed as Executive Vice President and Representative Director as of October 1, 2024.

After the resignation of the director, the Company still satisfies the number of directors as stipulated by laws and regulations and the Articles of incorporation.
