■Motorcycle Headquarters

1)

Motorcycle Headquarters Engineering Operations has established a CAE Testing Division by integrating the Testing Division and the Computer Aided Engineering (CAE) function of the Technology Development Division. The move is intended to improve the quality of product development.

2)

Motorcycle Headquarters Procurement Operations has made the following organizational changes:

A CE Development Division was established by integrating the cost-engineering function of the Global Procurement Division and the production preparation function of the Procurement Quality Control Division and by adding a purchasing function.

②

The Global Procurement Division integrates parts procurement, works to keep procurement stable and promotes a supplier strategy.

■Other Operations

1)

The Life Science Business Division has been spun off from the Research & Development Operations into an independent entity to more effectively pursue its business activities.

2)

The Overseas Market Development Operations (OMDO) has reorganized its component divisions based on a new zoning scheme. The reorganization aims to better promote the 3S (Sales, Service, Spare Parts) program for OMDO’s sales channels, boost market competitiveness, address specific market characteristics and increase synergy.
Specifically, the previous divisions -- Service & Promotion Division; Africa, Caribbean & South Pacific Division; Russia·CIS Division; and Overseas Project Division -- has been reorganized into Market Development Division 1, Market Development Division 2 and Market Development Division 3.
