All of us at Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. would like to offer our prayers, our deepest sympathy and sincere condolences for those who lost their lives due to Hurricane Katrina in the United States. For people whose lives have been devastated by the hurricane, we hope that restoration will be completed in the shortest time possible.
To be of assistance to victims of this disaster, Yamaha Motor has decided to donate relief funds and Yamaha products, equivalent to 50 million yen in total, to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and other relevant organizations through our subsidiary, Yamaha Motor Corporation, U.S.A. (YMUS).
Yamaha Motor is also ready to make further contributions in the future as needed.
