Organizational Reform and Accompanying Personnel Changes

Yamaha Motor Co., Ltd. announces the following organizational reform of administrative operations and accompanying personnel changes, effective March 1, 2005.

Organizational Reform

On reconsidering the function of the Corporate Communication Division of Administrative Operations, Yamaha Motor came to the conclusion that it would be beneficial to reform the current Corporate Communication Division into two units: the Corporate Communication Division-- responsible for improving customer satisfaction and fulfilling corporate social responsibility, among other objectives, and the Public Relations & Corporate Secretary Division, in charge of enhancing management support.

 

The Corporate Communication Division will consist of four departments: Administration & Customer Affairs Department, Environmental Affairs Department, Sports Promotions Department and Market Information Department .

 

Meanwhile, the Public Relations & Corporate Secretary Division, is made up of three departments, one office and one group: Public Relations Department, Advertising and CRM Department, the Secretary Department, the Tokyo Office and the 50th Anniversary Commemorative Project Promotion Group.
