Dealer name: YSP Kawasaki-Chuo
Working experience at Yamaha: 7 years

1:What motivated you to challenge the WTGP at the time?

From the start, I believed I could win, but I decided to participate because there are so few opportunities to objectively judge how I go about my work and what level I was at, and the idea of competing in maintenance engineering appealed to me.

2:What effort did you make to win the prize?

I raised the quality of my ordinary work.

3:What effect did winning the WTGP have on your work? Please relate any episodes that illustrate good effects on how you go about your work, or on your mindset.

I feel now that I'm always being watched, which has kind of raised the bar for me; but even from before, I did my work and dealt with customers in a "One-to-One Service" mindset, so in regard to how I do my work and my stance, nothing has changed.

4:What most makes you feel that your work is really worth doing?

When customers thank me and are happy with what I've done, and when people recommend our business.

5:What particular challenges do you want to take on, and efforts do you want to make in your work from here on?

I've always loved racing, so I guess I'd like to try racing-related work. And, if at all possible, I'd like to take part in races with my colleagues, too!

6:Do you have any words of support for those taking part in this year's WTGP?

When you enter the WTGP, you've probably already got what it takes in terms of ability; so put your skills, knowledge and experience to work and go for it! Your only enemy is nervousness, i.e., your own self.
