  • Q1What motivated you to challenge the WTGP at the time?
Yamaha Motor Taiwan (YMT) provided me with the opportunity to take part in the WTGP. I entered as a national representative, and I was extremely anxious over whether I would be able to achieve the task that I was set. My colleagues encouraged me with advice by saying that it was a win-win situation that would increase my knowledge and experience. This is what made up my mind to take part.
  • Q2What effort did you make to win the prize?
In order to accept the challenge with everything I had, I started off by considering the set subjects and the motorcycles that would be used. I then guessed the subjects that would be set while referring to the methods I used to solve defects in a past customer's motorcycle, and carried out simulations to ensure that I followed the correct work procedures during the actual tournament.
  • Q3Were there any effects in your job after you win the prize at the WTGP? Please introduce us the episode of the positive effects to your professional attitude and others.
Customers purchase new motorcycles once they know they can trust the technical prowess of the dealer. The same thing applies to repairs, with customers only entrusting the repair of their motorcycles to a dealer they have full trust in.
  • Q4Let us know the activities or services your shop doing to go beyond the expectation of the customers if any.
Taiwan is currently operating a financial aid campaign promoting a part-exchange switch across to new motorcycles under the guidance of the government. When a customer purchases a motorcycle from my dealership, we carry out all of the complex and tiresome procedures for applying for financial assistance, which is usually carried out by the customer, on their behalf. Also, if the motorcycle that the customer wishes to part-exchange does not run, we provide a service in which the motorcycle is picked up from the customer's address and delivered to us.
  • Q5When do you find your job rewarding.
Motorcycles are a part of everyday life in Taiwan. They are used to commute to work, commute to school, for deliveries, to pick up children, and for vacations... Motorcycles have many different uses in life. Maintaining these motorcycles in top condition to ensure that they arrive at their destinations both safely and comfortably is the important role that we technicians play. I believe that every single task we perform is of great value.
  • Q6What do you want to challenge or be passionately at work from here on?
I have continued in my present job for a long time, and I have relentlessly continued to expend every effort to learn technologies that evolve on a daily basis. I intend to make the best use of the experience and knowledge I have accumulated in the past to ensure that the technology is inherited by students who are highly motivated to learn.
  • Q7Please give a message for the 2016 WTGP participants to cheer them up.
