Q1What motivated you to challenge the WTGP at the time?
The thing that motivates me to take on the challenge of the 2007 WTGP is pride in representing Yamaha Indonesia in the World Technician Grand Prix, and wanting to be a winner. Also, I want to know the workshop condition in Japan.
Q2What effort did you make to win the prize?
I have been preparing myself by studying hard for the theoretical and practical on Yamaha motorcycle. Also, I have been learning how to provide the best service for the Yamaha customer.
Q3Were there any effects in your job after you win the prize at the WTGP? Please introduce us the episode of the positive effects to your professional attitude and others.
Since going back to Indonesia as 1st place winner of the 2007 WTGP:
I can do my job with effective use of time.
I can judge and solve motorcycle problems appropriately.
I can provide the customer with the best possible service, so as to enhance Yamaha motorcycle customer loyalty so that they get their motorcyle serviced at an authorized Yamaha workshop.

We always give the best service to customers so that they are satisfied, and we provide solutions for any customer complaints.
Q5When do you find your job rewarding.
I have found my job rewarding working at Mahasurya Motor II, where my career has risen from technician to being service manager.
Q6What do you want to challenge or be passionately at work from here on?
I was given the authority to develop the workshop in accordance with my own creativity. For the example, our workshop cooperates with government agencies who use Yamaha motorcycles as their official vehicles, like the Police Department and Department of Transportation, through service and repair of their motorcycle.

My message for the 2016 WTGP participants is as follows:
Don't get too focused on the study process only, but stay balanced, maintaining your physical condition.
Increasing your communication skills with the customer is a must.
