  • Q1What motivated you to challenge the WTGP at the time?
I knew that WTGP was something of a "playground" for those who were interested in motorcycle repair, and it also helped me to measure my ability and skill level.
  • Q2What effort did you make to win the prize?
I tried to have desire for winning the prize and apply what I had been learning through YTA course and from daily job(customer communication, trouble shooting) to the contest.
  • Q3Were there any effects in your job after you win the prize at the WTGP? Please introduce us the episode of the positive effects to your professional attitude and others.
I learned a lot from the contest and found that I have to try my best to study problems in new models in order to take proper countermeasures, be a good listener to customers, and build up a professional workshop. Since the WTGP, I have been working at the dealership with a more professional manner and attitude. Other technicians also take me as a model to improve themselves. So, our service becomes better. Customer quantity increases together with more income and profits. Above all, our dealership has become known as a professional dealership with well trained technicians who have experience taking part in international contests.
  • Q4Let us know the activities or services your shop doing to go beyond the expectation of the customers if any.
For busy customers in urban areas, we have a mobile service to repair motorcycles at customers' houses or offices. Even when our customers' motorcyles have problems while on the road, we can provide support immediately with our rescue service, too.
  • Q5When do you find your job rewarding.
I fell in love with motorcycles, especially sport bikes, when I was a student. After graduating, I was trained by many professional technicians and then applied for a job with the Tien Thu Dealership in Danang City. I feel job rewarding when I am able to know lots of things about Yamaha model which I like very much.
  • Q6What do you want to challenge or be passionately at work from here on?
I try to work on sports bike and also join Yamaha events than ever.
  • Q7Please give a message for the 2016 WTGP participants to cheer them up.
If you want to get good results in a contest, get used to the pressure involved so you can keep your mind clear enough to make accurate decisions and suitably organize your time.
